The Youth department was launched on 11th January 2003. Rapture Youth Department are on a mission to help those who feel lost, alone, troubled by any situation, depressed, rejected, feeling misunderstood by their peers and those who want more understanding about God. We in the Youth department are there to ensure that the youth of today are not alone. We are here to listen and offer as much help as possible. We ourselves have had experiences that we are willing to share that will relate and encourage others.

Set up and organise a play scheme.

To establish various workshops throughout the course of the year to
encourage the youths to bring out their gifts and talents, e.g.: Dance
workshop, Music Workshop, performing arts workshop.

Youth retreat, which we hope to have on a yearly basis.

Set up and establish a fundraising team in order to finance our ministry.

  Youth Club.

  Sports Day.

One of our main focus for the youth is to grow spiritually and numerically. How we aim to achieve this is by introducing activities into the youth department for each member to become more active and to take ownership of an area of ministry. We have discovered from our own experiences that by doing this it causes people to mature and to behave much more responsible. We currently have in place a structure that we are hoping to build upon, which is Bible Studies, poetry recitals, testimonies and socials. On occasions we have asked several members of the youth to teach bible studies, recite poems and as a result of this have seen people's interest grow. One of our successful meetings was an evening where two people gave their lives to Christ as a result of some powerful teaching from some of our new converts.

We will be attracting more youths into the ministry by taking the youth
meetings to the streets during the summer to evangelise.

Holding concerts to win souls and witness to the lost.

Organise cultural evenings - where everyone can dress in his or her own culture- share the national foods and fellowship in the Holy Ghost.

The Youth Department will be sending a team of seven to Trinidad in August for three weeks to attend a Youth Convention, where the youths will be ministering and participating in various activities.

The youth will also be holding a sports day each year and hope to make this a fun event where awards and certificates will be handed out.

The Youth retreat we are hoping will become an annual event alongside our youth convention. The Youth of today have a voice, which can attract and bring other youths into the Kingdom of God. Our desire is that souls are added into the Kingdom for the right reasons. Many may come but come as wolves and one of the ways we aim to separate the sheep from the goat is by going on retreats where we will shut ourselves away from the outside world in order to receive from GOD.
