18th October 8th November 2003

A team of five, which included Rev. Emy Stephenson embarked on this tour.

Our first engagement was at Cocoyea Open Bible Church @ 9.00am Sunday morning (19th Oct). The Lord moved miraculously. Approximately 5 souls were saved during this service. There were so many testimonies. The one that had a lasting effect on everyone was a 14 year old boy who travelled over 40 miles to attend this church. He told us the story of how he was treated by some of his classmates at school when he tried to minister to them about Jesus Christ, they pelted him with paper and teased him. He later gave away his last dollar and believed that God would increase that dollar before the end of the day. He had no bus fare to take him home. By the end of the day he received 3 dollars and gave one dollar to the boy in his classroom who pelted him with the paper. His story had such an impact on everyone. We were told it was mentioned on their local radio station. The Lord decided to bless him one hundred fold (financially) during the service.

Later on in the evening we visited Palo Seco Open Bible Church. They had such an awesome praise & worship which ushered us into the presence of God. All in all the two weeks we spent in Trinidad the Lord used all of us in a mighty way. The Lord showed us this was very much a deliverance tour. So many peoples lives were changed, so many people were set free from bondage, it was such a blessing. The other churches we visited in Trinidad were Moruga Open Bible, Marabella Open Bible (Mountain Movers), San Fernando Open Bible, Tunapuna Open Bible, Barrackpore Open Bible and Point Fortin (Mountain Movers.

The staff at San Fernando Hospital have shown there appreciation when they presented Rapture Ministries with a plaque in honour of the work that the Ministry have done in the past in Trinidad

We then went on to Venezuela - Peurto Ordaz, on Friday 31st October. Our first meeting was at Communidad Cristiana Hossana Church, which was an open air meeting (in a tent). The presence of God was awesome in Venezuela. This country had so many people who delved in witchcraft and various demonic forces, but the Lord intervened souls were set free. We then went on to The Light House Ministries – This church was the first English speaking church we attended, this church had Trinidadians, Guyanese and a few Jamaicans. The forces of witchcraft was very prominent here, but there were miraculous healing. There was a particular lady who appeared to be partially crippled. She seemed or appear to have had a stroke on her right side, which left her arm partially bent and her fingers were permanently closed, demonstrating a clenched fist. The Lord moved in a miraculous way pertaining to this lady, the Lord firstly delivered her, then healed her, she was able to open her fingers. She jumped for joy, this was a day of rejoicing!!! The other churches we visited were Cristiana Misionera & Roca de Salcacion.

A well known Athlete of Trinidad and Tobago who excelled to represent his country in the National and world-wide games. He is well remembered for his success as a hurdler and also the high jump and the long jump. Today he is much loved and appreciated by his niece the Reverend Emy Stephenson for his ongoing support and partnership in the Ministry.

Leary co-ordinates the work that Rapture Ministries is doing in the hospitals especially the San Fernando General Hospital.

Trinidad is a very special place in our hearts, that is why Rapture Ministries would like to work and help the unfortunate people where ever we can. So far Rapture Ministries has helped the San Fernando Hospital in Trinidad by supplying them much needed trolleys, wheel-chairs, desks, ward curtains, which was much appreciated by the South Regional Health authorities. Rapture Ministries vision is to help the less fortunate children, the elderly whom have no relatives, the unfortunate people who have contracted terminal diseases and have no one to turn to for help.

The staff at San Fernando Hospital have shown there appreciation when they presented Rapture Ministries with a plaque in honour of the work that the Ministry have done in the past in Trinidad.

Jeff Shepherd a pleasant young man who gave his life to the Lord at the age of fifteen, still at School many thought that he would keep to his faith in Jesus Christ. Now at the age of fifty -three he remains humble and willing to do as God permits.

As a sales and marketing employee, he was introduced to Rev'd Emy in the year of 1998, when she was asked to visit the island on a tour. Together with brother Stephen Standford, they provided her with a full Itinerary visiting prisons, Street meetings Interdenominational Churches and even involvement with the national newspapers.

On her return she was convinced that Brother Jeff Shepherd would work more closely with Rapture Ministries as the Lord permitted

To date he has not only taken on the post of Rapture Ministries co-ordinator but has done so with much vigour, determination and charm alongside his 20 year old native Gospel group "Promise"

Today under his management Rapture Ministries is involved with Prison Ministries, interdenominational Church meetings, street meetings, sponsoring equipment for two children's homes.
