Evangelism is my heartbeat. It is something
I have loved since I gave my life to Christ.
I realized how important it is to reach out
to the people who are not aware that they
are bound in sin, lack understanding that
repentance is a valuable tool for them to
come to the knowledge of a saviour.
For
me it is an experience as I was once bound
up in sin. Never really understanding the
full meaning of sin until I saw a miracle
before my very eyes. That was all I needed
to turn my life around and made me realize
that there truly is a God that is alive.
"The fool says in his heart there
is no God" (Psalm 14:1). As a Minister
of the Gospel and Head of the Evangelism Team,
I have come into the true calling that is
upon my life. Seeing a sinner give his life
to Jesus brings such a joy to my heart, word
cannot express. My vision for the Evangelistic
Team is to raise up a fire filled Team with
a passion, not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ
for it is the power of God unto Salvation.
This Evangelism Team wants to impact
people's lives and every God given
opportunity that comes our way we will
witness because we are witnesses of how
Jesus Christ changes lives. It is my desire
not only to see single people worshipping,
but the Drama Team, Praise & Worship and by
God's grace to see a team of street
preachers raised up for God, as He has given
into the body gifts. God has given us a
commandment (Matthew 28:18-20) a commission
to go ye into all the nations of the earth
bringing the good news of the Gospel, teaching,
that commission was given to every Born Again
Christian. I thank God for the zeal and passion
he has given me and the rest of the Team to
bring the good news of the Gospel to the lost
and dying. |
