Rev. Emy Edwards-Stephenson
Founder of Rapture Ministries

Dear Fellow saints in Christ
It is with heart felt thanks we the Ministers Pastoral Board and the members of Rapture
Ministries International extends to you our gratitude for taking time out to be with us in  our first Annual Convention, which was held in September 2003.

To all of you who over the past have generously donated your finance, prayer and marvellous zeal to this vision I can sincerely say that we can never do enough to assist souls languishing for lack of knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is so vital that we have dedicated our lives and our strength to this great mission. We must evangelise earnestly as this has been the vision or mission of our Lord Jesus Christ from the beginning of time until this very day. We at Rapture intends to reach the poor, be humble, by God's grace, reach the little ones, the abandoned and the suffering teaching them and showing them the love of the Kingdom of God. One with Christ we will reach the lost and dying souls of men. Let us daily keep each other in prayer both of gratitude and of petition.

Sis. Jean Wade
Head of Administration

This role is a very challenging role, as this is not only to support the church but also to support all the Ministers. I daily thank God for his infinite wisdom, guidance and knowledge to enable me to fulfill this role.

I believe that through God's grace, I have gained inner strength and boldness to do his work. Being obedient to this calling, the Lord has given me more of an insight into the vision of Rapture Ministries. My desire is to continue to be fired up for God in this time without wavering and to continue to support my Pastor in order to lead lost souls to seek their salvation.

Michele Walters
Head of Ladies/Youth Department

Greetings to you in the name of Jesus. My name is Michele and I love the Lord. Through serving God, I have been called to be Head of the Ladies Youth Department.

It has always been my hearts desire to encourage the youth to turn their hearts to Jesus. My vision for the Ministry is that, all the Youth to come together in one accord and reach out to the youths that need to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I have been called to be an example, a living testimony to show that God is real.

I have fellowship every Friday to encourage the youths to express themselves and to have the liberty to learn about the Word of God. All are welcome no matter who they are or where they are from. We are all Gods children.

As a young mother, my desire is to achieve in everything I put my mind to, I know that mothers my age find it hard to progress due to many commitments. I plan in the future to open a mother and baby learning training centre which enables young mothers to continue their education which will be equipped with child care facilities. I also have many other projects in mind that the Lord has inspired me to do.

No matter the storm, rain, sickness or pain, I am determined to achieve what God has ordained me to do.

God bless you!

Christian Langola
Head of Young Men`s/Youth Department

Hello, I greet you all in the name of Jesus.

My name is Christian Langola and I am 19 years old. I have been called at such a time as this to be the Head of Rapture Ministries Mens/Youth Department.

The vision I believe that has been spiritually passed on from the Founder as it has been shown in Numbers 11:12 is to win the lost young mens souls in the area of Thornton Heath. To go and teach the good news and to bring them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

My vision is to help the young men who feel lost, confused, troubled, depressed, rejected also to help those who have suffered from drug abuse, alcohol addiction, suicide attempts. To bring them to Jesus whereby if they feel that they are at the end of their journey to know there is someone that can redirect their path and put them back on the right track. That persons name is Jesus. I would like to take this experience to work with the Rapture Ministries orphanage team , to talk and understand where they are coming from, what they are feeling, and why and how they got to the situation they are in. I pray by God's grace I can open a centre for those kind of people. I also pray that you the reader would bring or encourage the young men that you know to change their ways and come to the special saving knowledge of Jesus Christ who is the Lord and saviour of our souls.

Sis. Juanita Grant
Barbados Co-Ordinator

My name is Juanita Grant. I am the mother of two, one son and a daughter. My mission and purpose is to fulfil God's will for my life. I am called first to be a servant of God and secondly Coordinator between Barbados and England. One of my mission in life is to speak to young people as well as those in their early to late twenties. I believe that I have got something to share coming from a home where there was alcohol, drugs and imprisonment - But God brought me through.

There might be some one reading this that may perhaps be going through a similar situation but I can say that even in your darkest moments there is someone who cares. Someone who loves you, someone who is always listening, and his name is JESUS!! And also Rapture Ministries.

My vision is that being from Barbados, I can be the link between Barbados and London.

To help heal those who are hurting and are in situations where they feel there is no way out. My heart felt desire is to bring God's people out of darkness and into His marvellous light.
God has brought me to London to do a work, to give birth to what He wants to do for His Kingdom. I want to give to my Country that which God has given me for them to speak a word into the lives of His people. To bring healing, to lift them up, to love and to bring them into the Kingdom of God.

Sis. Louise Alexander-Nyack
Head of Homeless Ministry

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

My name is Louise Alexander-Nyack. I am the mother of 3 and a Grandmother
of a 14 year old granddaughter. I lost my eldest daughter 7 years ago. Before losing my daughter, the Lord sent me out on the streets with the church I used to attend before joining Rapture Ministries.

I gave my life to Jesus Christ in November 1993. When I came to know the
Lord, He just gave me a heart for the homeless. For a few years, the church which I previously attended, used to go out on the streets. The Lord lead me to go with them, at first I could not understand why. As I began to pray, the Lord began to unfold the reason for me going with the team. He showed me that they needed to be shown how much Jesus loved them. I started out with 3 long French sticks and ended up with 14 sliced loaves of bread with 8 different fillings etc. then progressed unto blankets, clothes, toiletries and whatever they requested I would endeavour to supply it. God showed me whilst in this Ministry, that He is more than enough for me and He is my all and all. I have never been in want of anything. He meets all my needs according to his riches in glory. My strength comes from Him. For three and a half years, I prepared all the various food alone for this ministry. When my church stopped going out, I felt lost. For about 3 weeks I decided to go out with my son. After that time, the Lord stopped me going out, but told me not to worry as he would be sending others to continue this very important work. My son and I enjoyed it tremendously, especially talking to them.

I am looking forward to going out again and my prayer is, that God will strengthen me for this task. AMEN!!!

God loves us all and we have to love one another as He loves us.
